TS/SCI Cleared Weapons Systems Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Weapons Systems Engineer to work out of Tucson, AZ. The TS/SCI Cleared Weapons Systems Engineer is responsible for overseeing developer activities, monitoring corrective actions, supporting hardware verification, and assessing manufacturing and production readiness to ensure quality and schedule compliance.

Responsibilities of the TS/SCI Cleared Weapons Systems Engineer includes:

• Participate in developer reviews and technical boards, maintaining situational awareness and communicating updates or concerns to the program office.
• Track and oversee corrective actions, change board items, obsolescence issues, and other problem-resolution activities throughout the development cycle.
• Support hardware verification and production readiness by reviewing hardware pedigrees and participating in inspections and configuration audits.
• Monitor manufacturing and lab activities, assess build progress and risks, benchmark best practices, and evaluate developer readiness for production transition.

Qualifications for the TS/SCI Cleared Weapons Systems Engineer includes :

• BS degree in engineering with 14+ years of experience or MS in engineering with 12+ years
• Experience with space systems development, integration and/or operations of DoD or other agencies
• An active TS/SCI clearance; will consider Top Secret clearance
• A bachelor's degree is required, master's is preferred

Compensation for the TS Cleared Space Systems Chief Engineer includes :

• Salary: $150,000 - $180,000+ ** depending on experience**
