The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector has a career opportunity for a Project Manager to join our dynamic DES (Defense Enclave Services) team supporting DISA at Fort Meade, MD on a hybrid basis.

**The position is a telecommute role; however, the candidate must be available to be onsite in Fort Meade as needed for meetings, sessions, and other requirements**

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DoD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ (DAFAs) common use information technology systems, personnel, functions, and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office. It will unify the DAFAs on a common, modernized network architecture, DoDNet, to provide mission services focused on enhanced user experience, improved security, and network reliability.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: 
  • Must have an ACTIVE SECRET or above clearance required. (US Citizenship required)


Job Summary:

Primarily responsible for leading the Network migration core workstream activities and ensuring seamless execution for Defense Agencies and Field Activities (DAFA’s) as we migrate customers from their stand-alone network infrastructure and ingest them into DODNet.  Responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives. Duties may include ensuring that all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints. This sub family also interfaces with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel. Most jobs in this sub family have P & L responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Leading and coordinating project execution by defining objectives, creating a plan and timeline, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring overall success.
  • Creating a detailed outline of project objectives, schedule, tasks, and scope to set expectations, guide team members with project execution, and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Responsible for creation of the network migration wave installation tracker and ensuring all the information required is present and kept current
  • Guiding others through transformation processes; this includes identifying stakeholders, assessing the impact, providing relevant information at the appropriate cadence, and monitoring implementation.
  • Planning, allocating, and utilizing resources strategically within an organization.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact the success of a project.
  • Identifying and documenting the needs and constraints of stakeholders to guide item, system, and software development.
  • Assessing programs systematically against goals to determine their effectiveness and find opportunities for improvement.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a business discipline with 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Has expert knowledge of industry practices, advanced techniques and solutions within a the project management discipline to execute in alignment with standards, processes, and solutions within the PMI framework. Serves as a subject matter expert across Leidos.
  • Experience supporting program activities using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional four (4) years’ experience is required for a total of eight (8) years’ experience
  • Must have an ACTIVE DOD SECRET clearance or above to be considered. (US Citizenship required)

Pay Range: Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
