Description
Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Test Engineer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers.

Description
Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Test Engineer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing.
- Execute automated regression suites and analyze results to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.
- Contribute to test planning, case design, and documentation.
- Perform manual testing (functional, exploratory, regression) when needed.
- Report and track defects to closure in coordination with development teams.
- Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Software professional experience in QA with a focus on automation.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
