POSITION OVERVIEW
STi is seeking a Logistician to support flight test operations for the U.S. Air Force’s 59th Test and Evaluation Squadron (59 TES) at Nellis AFB. This role is central to daily mission readiness—supporting supply/material management, inventory control, tool control/accountability, test equipment calibration coordination (PMEL), transportation/movement of equipment, and logistics support for aircraft modifications and test operations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
• Perform supply/material management (operating stock) supporting flightline/test operations.
• Support logistics for maintenance, transportation, and services operations, including aircraft modification support, daily ops, tool control, and test equipment calibration coordination (PMEL/precision measurement equipment lab).
• Maintain accurate inventories for instrumentation Group A/B hardware kits; ensure availability and configuration accuracy.
• Execute stock control and inventory control (receipts, issues, storage, accountability, reconciliation).
• Support logistics activities for a flight test organization, including monitoring, locating, and scheduling movement/control of maintenance equipment.
• Perform periodic inventories and utilize computer programs to ensure equipment records are complete and up to date.
• Distribute existing maintenance equipment to customers based on demand; support customer requests and priority shifts.
• Assist with procurement of maintenance equipment, parts, and supplies; track orders through receipt and delivery.
• Receive orders and equipment for Data Labs and coordinate appropriate routing/handling.
• Prepare/coordinate/integrate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for systems/equipment (identification, development, acquisition, delivery).
• Prepare logistics documentation as required (e.g., Logistics Requirements Plans, ILS Plans, Operational/Interim Support Plans).
• Assess and coordinate requirements necessary to execute ILS functions across stakeholders.
• Issue/receive flightline equipment and conduct tool inventory and accountability checks.
• Inspect tools/equipment for serviceability and manage equipment control documentation/records.
• Support maintenance operations and shift turnovers (status, accountability, open actions).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
U.S. Citizenship required. Clearance as noted above.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 2+ years logistician/logistics experience
• Proficiency in supply/material management, inventory control, and equipment accountability
• Experience supporting maintenance organizations (tool control, equipment movement, or calibration coordination strongly preferred)
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced ops environment
Education/Experience Equivalencies -
• Associate’s Degree may be credited as 2 years of additional experience
• Bachelor’s Degree may be credited as 4 years of additional experience
• Master’s Degree may be credited as 6 years of additional experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience supporting flight test or aviation operational environments
• Tool control programs, equipment accountability, or PMEL/calibration coordination experience
• Familiarity with Group A/B kit management, kitting, bench stock/operating stock, and high-tempo issue/turn-in cycles
• Strong customer support mindset with proven ability to prioritize under schedule-driven operations

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• On-site at Nellis AFB supporting flightline/maintenance operations
• Schedule aligns to test tempo; flexibility may be required
