Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Business Intelligence Developer with one of our DoD/ Government clients. This will be a long-term contract opportunity. You’ll work 5 days onsite each week in Norfolk, VA providing mission critical services across various network domains.
Location: Norfolk, VA
Onsite expectation: 5 days onsite per week
Clearance Level: Secret
Contract Rate: $50-60 / Hourly on W2
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• 7-8+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and visualization libraries in R and Python are highly desirable.
• Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools (e.g., Power Query, Tableau Prep, or general-purpose libraries in Python (Pandas, Koala, NumPy) and R.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, distribution fitting, and statistical testing methodologies.
• Experience using machine learning methods (feature engineering, regression, classification, clustering, association, NLP) to analyze data and develop solutions to business problems.
• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining dashboards, metrics, and products to support command analysis and decision-making requirements using internal and external sources of data.
• Ability to respond to short notice requests for information (RFIs) and support the development of complex products to address command analytic and decision-support requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply broad professional knowledge in the areas of innovative advanced operations research, data science, or computer science sufficient to serve as a consultant and/or technical advisor to senior subject matter specialist or management officials.
