We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, testing, and integration of advanced electronic systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical circuit design, troubleshooting, and system analysis, and will be comfortable collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality, mission-critical solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and test electronic systems, circuits, and components.
Perform schematic capture, simulation, and validation of electrical designs.
Conduct troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations to ensure system reliability.
Support prototype builds, hardware testing, and design verification activities.
Utilize electrical design and analysis tools to develop and refine schematics and interconnect layouts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and systems engineers.
Prepare detailed documentation, test reports, and technical presentations.
Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and lifecycle analyses.
Provide technical leadership or mentoring to junior engineers as needed.
Support bid and proposal efforts by contributing technical input and cost estimates.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Experience in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and testing.
Proficiency with common design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, or Creo Schematic.
Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), network analyzers, and power meters.
Strong understanding of schematic capture and the ability to interpret complex circuit diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a STEM discipline (ABET accreditation preferred).
Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership within multi-disciplinary teams.
Experience with analog, digital, and/or RF circuit design.
Knowledge of mixed-signal and system interconnect design for electrical systems.
Experience using integrated development environments (IDEs) and debugging tools for system troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills.
Proven ability to write clear technical documentation and deliver formal presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with project management and proposal development.
Understanding of computer architecture, hardware optimization, and embedded system integration concepts.
Experience developing or implementing programming languages or scripts to support design automation or testing.
Ability to adapt existing designs to interface with new Units Under Test (UUTs) and configurations.
Self-starter with excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal communication skills.
