Digital Enterprise Engineering (DEE) within the Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) is seeking to hire a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer. In this position, you will support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Northrop Grumman's corporate enterprise architecture using current Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework and language standards (UAF/UAFML 1.2). Responsibilities include developing functional and non-functional requirements, architecture diagrams, interfaces, and presentation materials designed for corporate working groups. You will actively collaborate across the organization to create and refine systems engineering content and artifacts utilizing modern tools, automation, and methodologies to improve quality, expedite results, and ensure stakeholders derive value from the enterprise architecture. All responsibilities will require the application of strict configuration management techniques.

Primary Level Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Basic Qualifications :
- 8 years' engineering experience with Bachelors in STEM discipline; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD
- Active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Ability to travel 10%
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience applying MBSE concepts
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience using existing MBSE tools (Cameo and DOORS)
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience modeling enterprise/system behavior using UAFML / SysML or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience with complex system development on large acquisition programs
- 2+ years' experience working within an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
- 2+ years' experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence & Jira)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief at corporate working groups (e.g. Systems Engineering Leadership Group)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in integrating AI techniques within MBSE practices to optimize productivity and enhance quality
- 1+ years' experience with scripting languages (i.e. Python)
- Experience creating reference architectures
- Experience with developing test specifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, deployment technologies (i.e. Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Familiarity with source code configuration management tools (i.e GitHub)
- Active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
