Description:You will be the Production Operations Staff supporting the PAC-3 CLS Program. Our team is responsible for the successful execution of Production Operations strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving results-oriented behavior to ensure successful PAC-3 CLS Production.
As the Production Operations Staff, you will be responsible for coordinating product workflow through the supply chain and across Lockheed Martin sites to meet program requirements. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Developing and executing Production Operations strategies and transition plans to ensure cost and schedule are maintained
• Leading and motivating large, diverse teams to achieve production goals
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Quality, PP&C, Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Global Supply Chain, the Project Office, Program Management, and Senior Leadership
• Managing cross site collaboration between the Dallas, Lufkin, and Ocala facilities
• Supporting sites and external suppliers, including recovery plan development and execution
• Analyzing and improving production processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness
• Developing/coordinating Make or Buy strategies
• Managing and executing proposals and affordability initiatives
• Occasionally traveling to manufacturing sites to support production operations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited university
• Production Site or Manufacturing experience
• Ability to read a Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Possess appropriate business acumen to successfully present cases to a variety of customers (Project Office, Program Management and Senior Leadership)
• Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence
• Experience within Operations Management or a related discipline supporting production
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Ability to be onsite 3 days a week
Desired Skills:
• Experience with PAC-3 products
• Proven track record of leading, motivating, and holding a cross-functional team accountable
• Experience managing, contributing to and executing proposals and affordability initiatives
• Demonstration of results-oriented behavior and ability to self-initiate tasks
• Clear understanding of production processes employed within Lockheed Martin
• Experience reading and understanding Statements of Work / Contractual Documentation
• An engineering or technical related degree
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Experience with Make-Buy generation
• Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling.
• A broad base of knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective communicator with all levels of the organization including technical & non-technical personnel

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
