Position Summary:
The SAP Basis Administrator will provide technical expertise in support of SAP applications, including assisting with the installation and configuration of SAP systems and gaining familiarity with the implemented network architecture. This role requires the ability to independently ramp up knowledge by effectively leveraging available documentation, training resources, and collaboration with subcontractor partners to become proficient in SAP environments, including S4HANA, BW4HANA, PO, and SAP Portal.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for SAP and other applications used by the client
Support functional, performance and security testing and help resolve any defects or open issues
Resolve issues with architecture services and interface development
Update documented technical landscape when appropriate in established project format
Build/Install/Configure of SAP applications in different environments
Complete weekly status reporting identifying tasks accomplished, key tasks that are planned for the upcoming weeks (2), and any open issues/risks that impact completion of assigned deliverables
Complete weekly time tracking documentation
Support Pack and Kernel Application
Regular System Monitoring
Documentation
Transports/Backfills (in rotation with entire Basis Team)
Security (Secondary Responsibilities)
Functional Design Reviews (Secondary Responsibilities)
Technical Design Reviews (Secondary Responsibility)
Required Experience:
Must be eligible to obtain a US security clearance
Resolve issues with architecture services and interface development
Support Pack and Kernel Application
Six (6) years of industry experience or functional skills
3-6 years minimum SAP experience
Must possess a Security+ certification
Must have an ACTIVE Relevant Computing Environment certification from most current DLA approved Computing Environment Certification List:
SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP S/4HANA System Administration
SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA
SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP NetWeaver / Basis
Compensation:
In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $116,000 – $150,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
