Position Summary
Core developer responsible for building natural language processing pipelines that convert human input into structured, validated machine commands. Implements schema-based validation ensuring language model outputs are bounded, deterministic, and suitable for downstream safety-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement structured schemas for standardizing natural language input processing
• Develop intent classification and command translation logic with validation
• Build hallucination detection and output validation mechanisms
• Implement confidence scoring for translation quality assessment
• Create human-readable explanations grounded in validated system state
• Develop test harnesses using surrogate data
• Support voice and text input processing pipelines
• Optimize models for latency and accuracy requirements
Required Qualifications
• Active Secret clearance
• 3+ years experience with LLM/RAG system development
• Strong experience with prompt engineering and output validation
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or similar)
• Experience with schema validation and structured output generation
• Understanding of NLP pipelines and intent classification
• Ability to work with sanitized requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with military or defense terminology
• Background in agentic AI systems with safety constraints
• Familiarity with voice-to-text and speech recognition systems
• Experience with rapid prototyping and agile development
