The Boeing Global Services Maintenance Engineering Team is seeking a first line manager to lead a Maintenance Engineering team for Military Commercial Derivative Aircraft (MCDA) programs in Tukwila, WA. This role will focus on overseeing MSG-3 and Maintenance management statements of work. This position will lead an engineering and technical team in evaluation of engineering data, in-service reliability data regulations to develop the initial minimum scheduled maintenance requirements, product certification and instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA).

Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees producing Technical Publications in support of aircraft delivery and sustainment.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquiring resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes and provides technical guidance to resolve engineering issues.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
- Manage a team developing technical publications for military commercial derivative aircraft.
- Management and planning of cost and schedule performance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience in project or program management
- 5+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- Familiar with leading teams to attain project completion
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with schedule and budget management, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
- Experience working with engineering and technical Data for KC-46, VC-25B, P8, Commercial 767, 747, 737 or comparable commercial derivative aircraft platform
- Experience with U.S. Air Force or international government aviation maintenance practices and experience partnering with government customers to deliver services and products
- Experience with Maintenance Engineering (Defense or Commercial) practices, Aircraft Maintenance procedures
- Familiar with Technical Manual (Commercial or Defense) development
- Experience working with Design Engineering and Regulatory through all phases of certification; Amended Type Certification (ATC), Supplemental Type Certification (STC) and Military Type Certification (MTC).
