Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a leading aerospace and defense location. You will support a secure environment by responding to incidents and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of the unique environment and requirements of an aerospace and defense location, adapting to changing conditions as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for a variety of security-related scenarios.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
