Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay range: $65-70/hr on w2
Contract: 6+ months, possible extension

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on W2
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2 years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • 2 years of experience supporting the development of the engineering technical data packages needed to produce parts and components
  • 2 years of experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills and teamwork to solve technical issues


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Nice-to-have skills but are not required:
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Electrical background is a plus; wire installation
  • Build integration experience is a plus
  • Experience with IVT
  • Experience with CATIA and GoldEsp
  • Proficiency in Office Suite


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Key tasks and expectations for the role:
  • Create and refine build plans, mitigating risks and developing sequenced-based execution plans
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and involvement in build plan aspects
  • Drive continuous improvements through innovation and data analytics
  • Act as an integrator surrounding the health of the production system
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
  • Champion the build integration process by providing lessons learned and after-action reviews
  • Attend technical review meetings for design changes and provide build impact assessments and recommendations
