POSITION SUMMARY
- Operates various types of cranes, such as mobile, portal, bridge, and fixed cranes.
- Equipment is used to lift and move material and to test crane.
- May grease, adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment.
- May operate trucks, heavy or light.
- May perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years (five preferred) load lifting crane operating experience in a professional capacity with a safe operating record.
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's license(CDL) and be able to obtain government driver's license for size and type vehicles required.
- Must be able to pass a company physical and annual physical as required by Dept. of Transportation(DOT).
- Must have and wear at all times, hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413-05 standards.
- Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements necessary for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
