We are currently recruiting for a Principal Cybersecurity Strategist/Advisor with a current TS/SCI w/ poly to support a contract located in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities
Drive the development, updating, and implementation of directorate-wide cybersecurity strategy annually. Advise on cybersecurity and risk issues, brief and advise senior leadership, advise, and collaborate with components and IT teams across the directorate. Plan, coordinate and support associated meetings and offsite events, track activities throughout the year, engage and collaborate with external partners. Delivers and sustains a cadre of cyber analytic personnel. Recommends innovative management ideas and solutions related to Cyber Analytics. Plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results. Performs assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities. Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. Assists in the implementation of the required government policy and may make recommendations on process tailoring. Performs extensive analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Provides advanced guidance and leadership to less experienced cybersecurity personnel.
Qualifications
Pay Range: There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline.
- 16+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to interface with senior government stakeholders.
- Must possess a current TS/SCI Polygraph
