Precise Systems seeks a Senior Software Developer to support our Navy customer in Dahlgren, Virginia.
This role performs 5 days per week, on site, in Dahlgren, Virginia
Duties:
- Design, implement, and test source code for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System
- Mentor and guide less experienced Developers
- Debug reported issues and provide causal analysis
- Actively support all aspects of the system development lifecycle (analysis, requirements definition, design, coding, development and unit testing, maintenance and preparing associated documentation) with an emphasis on software development.
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in STEM related major
- An additional four years of experience can substitute for a degree
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a software developer in weapons systems, complex systems, or defense-related role/s
- High proficiency in C++ and Java required
- High proficiency with LINUX/UNIX required
- Great communication skills
