Technical Project Manager

MANTECH seeks a highly technical and mission-focused Technical Project Manager to join our elite team in Chantilly, VA.

As a Technical Project Manager on our team, you will lead a highly skilled group delivering cutting-edge digital forensics solutions to intelligence agencies. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that advance national security objectives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Engage with the customer or customer representative to fully understand the desired customer functionality, interface and liaison between the program staff and customers as the technical subject matter expert. Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Implement a project management model that ensures a positive customer experience. Manage all program complex project development, delivery, and implementation services delivered on-time within budget and scope.
• Create and maintain a master schedule, performing schedule analysis, monitoring project progress against schedule and resolving variances, validating completion of scheduled project activities and milestones, providing weekly updates to customers and program management.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure successful delivery of all projects and answer technical questions from users and customer regarding products and services.
• Provide design ideas for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilities, and deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customer and changing business needs.
• Communicate project status with leadership and customers, create and deliver briefings, presentations, reports and metrics to customers and Program leadership, attend customer meetings and record detailed minutes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS Degree in a technical field and 10+ years of experience in software development, cybersecurity, computer science or related field or High School Diploma and 14+ years of experience
• 10+ years of experience managing technical projects utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Experience with, or strong knowledge of "best practice" software design and good command of Assembly, C/C++, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with coding or development in C, C++, C#/.NET, Java or Python.
• Experience in digital forensics.
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of national intelligence agencies or DoD cyber components.
• Experience with Git version control systems.
• Experience presenting written and oral presentations to technical, non-technical and executive level stakeholders.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• Able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time
