Position Overview

Praescient Analytics is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Data Architect to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) Technology Platform. This role provides critical, independent, and objective contract advisory and assistance services (CAAS/SETA) across the NMEC Technology Platform and its various divisions. You will work directly with senior managers and executives to provide the vision and strategic direction for NMEC's Data Architecture as it modernizes and scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Modeling & Standards: Assist with the development and implementation of data model standards, particularly as NMEC advances with its metadata repository.
  • Roadmap Development: Develop and implement a future-state data architecture roadmap, ensuring existing solutions are evaluated for transition and migration to standard services.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure TIS (Technology Information Services) data is discoverable across the enterprise and is "AI ready". Maintain and update the DIA Data Catalog.
  • Strategic Assessment: Participate in strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate the enterprise approach and associated work products.
  • Technical Advisory: Provide expert advice, guidance, and assistance to other professionals in a consulting capacity, coordinating the resolution of highly complex technical problems.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with a BS degree.
    • Alternatively, 20 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in industry technical issues and trends.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to utilize functional area expertise to assess the operational and functional baselines of an organization and its components.

Preferred Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of NMEC Operations, NMEC Architecture, and mission applications such as Harmony.
  • Familiarity with foreign language document management, digital exploitation, and data systems across the DoD, IC, and NATO.

Security Requirements
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a final Top Secret U.S. Government clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Screening: Must successfully complete a mandatory security screening, including a counter-intelligence polygraph (CSP) examination.
  • U.S. Citizenship required
