Volt is immediately hiring for "Senior Test & Integration System Engineer" in Goleta, CA.

What are the main functions of this role?
You will support integration, verification and validation (IV&V), design verification testing (DVT), and production testing support the delivery of EO/IR Focal Plane Array Sensor Systems.
You will develop test plans and execute product test activities in support of engineering and production builds.
You will support the Test Architect in the development and execution of the test architecture from bid through production, contribute the test system design, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team achieve these goals
You will collaborate with operations and manufacturing teams tenable efficient product flow, provide actionable metrics, minimize cycle time, and maximize yield

This is 12 months Full- time- contract with possible hire opportunity.

Required Skill Sets:
Experience in test methodology within sensors include optical performance, analysis, and test verification for EO/IR Focal Plane Array sensor systems and/or relatable experience in development and/or production program
Desired Skill Sets:
Experience developing and, or executing factory test plans, procedures, and equipment support an EO/IR Focal Plane Array sensor system and ROICs
Prior experience with ROIC wafer probing, fabrication, integration, verification, and validation for a complex EO/IR system.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and be able effectively communicate with Test Management, IPT leaders, hardware and software development engineers, specialty engineers, program managers, and customers.
Experience with use of basic laboratory equipment; power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters

Education Level Required:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related STEM discipline and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience. Relevant experience include airborne and, or space EOIR system test, integration verification and validation testing, product transition production or relatable experience.
How will the contractor’s success be measured?
Successful completion of test engineering tasking as measured by the Test Engineering Section leaders.

Pay Range: $60.00 - $ 70.00 per hour.
