The Boeing Government Training Engineering (GTE) Hardware Design Engineering team in Hazelwood, MO, is seeking an Associate or Experienced Electrical Design Engineer (Level 2 or 3). In this role you will design, develop, manufacture, and maintain support equipment for a range of military rotorcraft systems. You will also act as the project lead for each device-preparing proposals, managing hardware build and checkout, coordinating with Program Management and Production, and delivering status updates to management and other stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities
- Define and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Create hardware, software, and interface specifications.
- Perform testing and validation to confirm designs meet operational and functional needs.
- Support supplier oversight to ensure integration and compliance with system requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for deployed hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Investigate emerging technologies for potential business applications.
- Prepare proposals for each design project.
- Scrum Master
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in the design and analysis of basic electronic/electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience following the Master's degree
- At least 5 years of experience in the design and analysis of basic electronic/electrical systems
- Project Management experience
- Proposal development
- Agile experience
