Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:
- Analyzing large-scale system requirements and recommending comprehensive hardware, software, and telecommunications solutions aligned with organizational policies and user needs.
- Designing and implementing system-wide network solutions, including procurement, installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting across multiple physical sites.
- Developing detailed system configuration documentation, standard operating procedures, and user training materials.
- Establishing and enforcing network and data security measures, including firewalls, disaster recovery systems, and secure communication architectures.
- Leading and managing technical teams in support of major system installations and ongoing maintenance efforts, while coordinating closely with DOJ stakeholders and contractors.
Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:
- 5+ years of experience with full life-cycle network system design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience with Network patch and fiber cabling (SC, LC), Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a
- Experience with Cisco, Extreme switches, Aruba OS/wireless, Aruba Airwave
- Strong customer facing skills
- Active Public Trust or ability to obtain
Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: $100,000-107,000 **depending on experience**
- Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law
