Description:This position performs various tasks required to support the (ATLO) Assembly, Test, and Launch production of spacecraft in support of the Tranche/WILDFIRE SmallSat program.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Provide day-to-day oversight of the Assembly, Test, Launch Operations (ATLO)/Production Wildfire technician team to ensure schedule commitments, cost commitments, and performance objectives are met.
• Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for non-exempt spacecraft technician workforce. Maintain all technician compliance training current as required per command media. Monitor technician overtime. Schedule all daily work using the technician schedule. Provide technician assignments and shift resources as necessary to meet operational requirements.
• Lead the technician team in raising and resolving issues through interactions with the programs, other ATLO & Production teams, and senior program leadership.
• Support the daily floor ATLO/Production operations of spacecraft in support of the Tranche/WILDFIRE SmallSat program.
• Oversees SSB SPD Center facility and tool control.
Basic Qualifications:
• Willingness and ability to obtain a SECRET DOD Clearance.
• Experience with floor operations and procedure executions.
• Experience with maintaining process discipline in a dynamic and fast paced environment including the ability to balance various risks across the system to maintain cost within a fixed schedule environment.
• Experience in communicating and briefing senior-level program and customer management.
• Able to work shift and weekend work as needed.
• Able to travel as required in support of launch campaigns.
Desired Skills:
• Direct hands on experience with leading ATLO or Production Assembly/Test efforts on a firm fixed price program.
• Experience using VECAMs, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) using SAP, Automation Framework (AF); their application and implementation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching and mentoring skills.
• Certified Test Conductor (CTC) Certification.
• Breadth of knowledge and work experience implementing production best practices and lessons learned.
• Considered a Subject Matter Expert with products used for Integration/Test.
• Successfully demonstrated completing tasks and
delivering products on time and within budget.
• Possess strong, demonstrated leadership and the ability to work with personnel from diverse backgrounds and disciplines both internal and external to the organization.
• Possess leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
