You will be the Sr. Facilities Project Engineer for the Air Dom Construction & Building Expansion team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-impact, state-of-the-art production facilities that enable mission success.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Sr. Facilities Project Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of critical facility projects that support our mission.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead design and execution of Air Dom construction projects.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure schedule and budget adherence.

  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Construction Management or equivalent experience.

- 2+ years of related experience

- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
- Project management experience on large scale industrial or manufacturing construction projects.

- Proficiency with MS Project, strong Excel analytics. Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical principles. Basic construction skills familiarity with terminology of materials, processes, and trades.

- Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple contractors simultaneously.

- Proven track record of implementing robust safety programs and achieving zero incident milestones.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical data to senior executives.

- Experience with Lockheed Martin facility construction standards or defense industry projects.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
