Markon's partner company is seeking a motivated Senior Java Analytic GHOSTMACHINE (GM) Developer to support the exciting Technology Trending Solutions mission. In this role, you will work closely with mission stakeholders and customers to capture requirements, build innovative prototype analytics, and deploy solutions into customer-supported tools that automate and enable data and metadata analysi

Responsibilities

  • Mission-Focused Development
    • Collaborate directly with mission customers to develop Java-based GHOSTMACHINE analytics using mission artifacts.
    • Enrich and integrate data from a variety of corporate sources to improve analytic outcomes.
    • Summarize and transform enriched data into usable outputs for downstream analytics, discovery workflows, and customer queries.
  • Requirements & Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Work closely with mission stakeholders to gather requirements and translate operational needs into scalable analytic capabilities.
    • Prototype innovative solutions quickly and transition them into deployable, mission-ready analytics.
  • Data Enrichment & Insight Generation
    • Creatively leverage disparate datasets to fill knowledge gaps across:
      • User activity patterns
      • Collection efforts
      • Technology discovery and trending analysis
    • Formulate results that directly support analytics pipelines and mission decision-making.
  • Deployment & Integration
    • Deploy analytics to customer-supported environments and tools.
    • Ensure solutions enable automation and efficient metadata-driven analysis.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
  • Education / Experience
    • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented development.
    • Experience with MapReduce-based development.
    • Hands-on experience with:
      • GHOSTMACHINE (GM)
      • NiFi
      • Elasticsearch
      • MongoDB
      • Query Time Analytics
  • Mindset
    • Creative problem-solver with the ability to synthesize incomplete or fragmented data into meaningful analytic results.
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work directly with customers.


Salary Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
