Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed in Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This armed role requires a guard card/license and offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that values agility, reliability, and integrity, all while putting people first each day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the security-related needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or observe unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify identification as required, maintaining awareness of all personnel and visitors within the location.
- Report and document all incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activities according to established protocols.
- Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related operations specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
- Maintain readiness to respond to emergencies, including potential threats unique to aerospace and defense locations.
- Handle assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with all policies, maintaining a high standard of professionalism at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
