Summary:
● Analyze and evaluate technical systems and development processes. Provide technical expertise across the project lifecycle including design, engineering, configuration, test planning/development, test execution analysis, and performance optimization. Manage system definition, development, and operations. Design, optimize, administer, and manage private and hybrid cloud environments. Implement data management systems in a cloud environment. Expertise in configuration management, Linux, Windows, Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos, remote desktop, SSH, and command line interface. Experience with cloud architecture integration, AWS, data flow architecture, data management systems, data center architecture and design, and virtualized infrastructures. Knowledge of network protocols, network topology, debugging on Windows/Linux systems, Information Security, Information Assurance, DevOps lifecycle, Test Driven Development, and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications & Compensation:
● $327k yearly compensation
Required Skills:
• Minimum of 10-14 years’ experience (within the last 10 years) in configuration management.
• Knowledge and Experience:
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience communicating with both technical and non-technical individuals and working on a team.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux, Windows, Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos and other utilities and/or services such as remote desktop, SSH and command line interface
• Demonstrated experience in cloud architecture integration, such as AWS/Sponsor cloud computing services
• Demonstrated experience deploying, configuring or architecting physical, virtual or cloud-based solutions
• Demonstrated experience defining and architecting end-to-end data flow architecture and data management systems
• Demonstrated experience performing data center architecture and design, consolidation, optimization, administration, engineering, and management of private and hybrid cloud environments
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience in a physical and virtualized infrastructures (e.g., Proxmox, AWS)
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience preparing required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation
• Good understanding of data transfer protocols like FTP, SFTP, TFTP, HTTP, HTTPS
• Knowledge of network topology, protocols, and debugging on Windows/Linux systems
• Work closely with the ISSM and other customer security elements as required
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated understanding of Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) policies such as ICD 503 to ensure system security and data integrity
• Demonstrated experience deploying the complete DevOps lifecycle including integration of build pipelines, automated deployments, and compliance scanning using test drive development
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with data encryption within a secure environment.
• Demonstrated experience deploying the complete DevOps lifecycle including integration of build pipelines, automated deployments, and compliance scanning using test driven development.
• Demonstrated experience working Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) policies such as ICD503 to ensure system security and data integrity.
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience using Agile methodologies and participation on an Agile software or systems engineering team.
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience preparing required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation
