We are currently seeking Corrosion Control Technician Under Instruction (U/I) (Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E)) to support our customers in customers in San Diego, CA.
Required Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; and related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate and/or trade experience.
Required Certification: AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 2).
Desired Experience: Approximately five (5) years of experience in the corrosion control field supporting U.S. Navy ship and submarine maintenance. The candidate shall have experience with processes and requirements as they pertain to shipboard organizational level corrosion control maintenance of HM&E systems and ships structure. The candidate shall have experience with surface preparation tools, corrosion control techniques, coating system application tools and coating systems used on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats. The candidate shall have experience with new corrosion control technologies and how they may be implemented on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats.
Must currently hold and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The hourly range for this position is $32.97 - 49.45. This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
