3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: PRESENT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) PROGRAM STRATEGIES TO SENIOR LEADERS FOR THE INCORPORATION OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: PERFORM A RISK ANALYSIS OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SYSTEMS TO IDENTIFY PROBLEMS AND RECOMMEND SOLUTIONS.

In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must support at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Performing system administration functions for Information Technology and/or Operational Technology (OT) to include incorporating new data flows, queries, reports, and correlation analysis for patterns of abuse and operational inefficiencies.
2. Analyzing computer utilization and system performance by identifying intrusions, misuse, malfunctions, misconfigurations, and inefficiencies.
3. Recommending changes to system design, software, operating procedures, and other protection mechanisms to ensure system integrity.
4. Developing measures to implement and protect information stored, processed, and communicated by AIS and OT, taking into account a wide number of variables and alternatives in choosing optimum solutions.
5. Design of AIS security policies and specific systems security programs.

- You will use data collected from a variety of cyber defense tools (e.g., IDS alerts, firewalls, network traffic logs) to analyze events that occur within their environments for the purposes of mitigating threats.
- You will investigate, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents within the network environment or enclave.
- You will analyze security related events to provide a threat-based security assessment and initiate a cyber-incident response as warranted
- You will attend routine and regular classified Top Secret/sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI) VTCs, meetings, or working groups, which requires access to TS/SCI materials, equipment, programs, facilities, or systems.
- You will oversee the performance of contract support staff as a quality evaluator and to perform task order management.
