Job Summary
BAE Systems is seeking a highly organized and mission-focused Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Coordinator to support program execution across multiple technical workstreams. This role partners closely with a Program Manager to ensure delivery excellence, maintain Agile rigor, and translate program objectives into actionable, well-defined work. The ideal candidate brings strong facilitation skills, a disciplined approach to process, and a commitment to enabling teams to deliver high-quality capabilities that support customer and mission needs.

Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Backlog & Work Definition
- Collaborate with the Program Manager, product owners, and engineering leads to decompose program requirements into clear, testable user stories
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to ensure work is prioritized, properly scoped, and aligned with contractual and program objectives
- Maintain backlog integrity, ensuring acceptance criteria, dependencies, and readiness standards are consistently met
- Track story progress and ensure accurate, timely updates within approved work management tools
- Lead daily standups and Agile ceremonies, ensuring disciplined execution and alignment to sprint goals
- Identify impediments and coordinate with cross-functional partners to drive timely resolution
- Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous communication across the team
- Reinforce Agile best practices and support a culture of continuous improvement
- Prepare and facilitate sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and related Agile events
- Support the Program Manager in translating program-level milestones into achievable sprint-level plans
- Monitor team velocity, capacity, and performance metrics to guide realistic commitments
- Track dependencies, risks, and cross-team impacts, escalating issues as appropriate
- Maintain dashboards, burndown charts, and status reports to provide clear visibility to program leadership and stakeholders
- Support release readiness activities, including documentation, testing coordination, and compliance with program processes
- Ensure alignment with BAE Systems' engineering, quality, and program management standards
- Individuals who bring structure, clarity, and calm to complex environments
- Professionals who enjoy partnering closely with Program Managers to drive predictable, high-quality delivery
- Facilitators who can balance Agile flexibility with the rigor required in defense and mission-critical programs

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coordinator, or similar role
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and practical delivery experience
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and drive disciplined execution
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and/or comparable Agile management tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and highly technical environment
- Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or highly regulated programs
- Understanding of systems engineering or software development lifecycles
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and influence without authority
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Environments
- Experience with creating reports in Microsoft Power BI
