Position Overview

The Graphic Artist II plays a critical role within the Business Development Department, designing visually compelling materials that clearly communicate the value of Forward Edge-AI's products, services, and mission. This role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts, such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, and national security solutions into clear, engaging, and professional visual assets tailored for government and enterprise audiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong creative skills with attention to detail, brand discipline, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, compliance-aware environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-quality visual assets for proposals, pitch decks, capability statements, white papers, and executive presentations
• Translate complex AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity concepts into accessible visual narratives, infographics, diagrams, and data visualizations
• Collaborate with Business Development, Product, R&D, and Marketing teams to ensure visual alignment with company mission and brand standards
• Develop graphics supporting outreach to public safety, defense, and federal agency customers
• Maintain visual consistency across all materials and communication channels
• Produce print-ready and digital artwork for events, trade shows, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives
• Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure all design deliverables comply with confidentiality, compliance, and government contracting requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional experience in graphic design or visual communications
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Experience with modern design tools such as Figma, Canva, or equivalent
• Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to visualize complex technical concepts
• Experience designing materials for B2B, technology, or government-focused audiences
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and brand systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI, cybersecurity, public safety, or national security sectors
• Familiarity with data visualization and technical diagrams
• Experience designing proposal or RFP materials
• Motion graphics or basic 3D visualization skills
• Ability to quickly interpret and visually communicate emerging technologies

Compensation

Salary is based on knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA), subject to program requirements.
