Sr. Database Administrator

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

The Senior Database Administrator (Sr. DBA) is responsible for architecting, administering, and optimizing enterprise and cloud-based database environments in support of federal mission systems. This role requires deep expertise in database engines, security compliance, cloud migration, and full lifecycle application support while ensuring performance, availability, and data protection in secure environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr. Database Administrator: $120,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Sr. Database Administrator Responsibilities Include:
  • The DBA should also be able to Architect and implement cloud database infrastructure following best practices and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in working with databases such as MS SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, Oracle 19c, SDE, Solaris, Linux, Oracle OID/Web Authentication and DB Authorization, Kerberos, PostgreSQL, Weblogic
  • Knowledge and experience in web information architecture, programing, and cloud migration;
  • Experience with at least one of the public cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud Services, or Microsoft Azure;
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of all aspects of Database Engines (Managed Instances, Data Warehouse) including administration;
  • Experience in programming
  • Experience in Software Development Lifecycle including requirements collecting and analysis, design, development, testing, implementing and deploying, and maintaining applications
  • Knowledge in source code management, change tracking tools (GitHub, Zenhub, ServiceNow)
  • Knowledge of security STIGS, and engineering release packages
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor or equivalent work experience. Experience and abilities with Oracle 19c
  • SDE
