Description

GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced expert Cyber Technical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the below:
  • The resource will manage ongoing operational activities in collaboration with relevant teams and make informed decisions with a focus on security and risk mitigation.
  • The resource will provide support for targeting efforts, including maintaining taskings and assisting human intelligence and technical operations.
  • The resource will use available information and research to identify potential leads and deliver written reports on the findings.
  • The resource will stay up to date with relevant skills and tools used for information analysis and targeting.
  • The resource will review, prepare, and edit written and electronic communications.
  • The resource will manage and coordinate internal and external communications through various channels.
  • The resource may be required to travel domestically and internationally to provide support as directed.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience with a minimum of 11 years of experience in targeting or a related field; and at least 6 years of experience supporting operational or technical teams in a targeting role, particularly in areas related to cyber operations.
  • Demonstrated experience targeting entities, including organization, or networks, using current intelligence practices and methodologies, with a focus on cybersecurity threats (experience from 2021 onwards).
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and targeting cyber-related data, including network infrastructure, digital communications, and endpoint systems.
  • Demonstrated experience performing data analysis, creating visual representations of complex information, and identifying and tracking targets for intelligence gathering purposes.
  • Demonstrated experience using a variety of analytical and targeting tools.
  • Demonstrated experience targeting individuals or groups with technical expertise for intelligence gathering or cybersecurity purposes.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing technical information and developing operation plans and intelligence leads.
  • Demonstrated experience working on joint operations or targeting efforts, potentially involving sensitive or classified topics.
  • Demonstrated experience reading and writing customer cables.

Desired
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and dissecting mobile applications and operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, C, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing data exploitation.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cooperative contacts and supporting engagements within industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working on projects requiring high levels of security clearance or handling sensitive information.
  • Demon stared experience collaborating with partners on cybersecurity issues and topics.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to travel domestically and internationally to support key partnerships and operations.

Education Requirement
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
