We are seeking a talented Senior Contracts & Pricing Administrator to join our client-facing team. In this role, you'll provide tactical support throughout the entire contract life cycle while delivering cost and pricing support to multiple clients, including established government contractors and commercial companies entering the GovCon arena.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contract Administration
- Utilize extensive government contractual expertise to oversee implementation, execution, and administration of a diverse range of contracts, including competitive, sole source, and directed prime and subcontract customer awards.
- Provide guidance to cross-functional business team members and clients, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Review complex solicitations and prepare comprehensive responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications encompassing both products and services.
- Skillfully negotiate NDAs, TAs, contract modifications, and agreements within delegated authority limits.
- Offer contractual support and mentorship to junior contracts team members and business team members.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential non-compliance issues and other challenges that may impact the company adversely.
- Manage, support, and streamline daily work activities to ensure seamless compliance with corporate, contract, and federal requirements.
- Coordinate various types of agreements, subcontracts, and other contract/program support documents effectively with leadership, accounting, legal, program management, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide proactive support, management, and tracking of contractual documentation, action items, and critical data.
Cost & Price Analysis
- Conduct detailed review of subcontractor cost proposals.
- Perform direct cost element analysis (labor, materials, ODCs).
- Evaluate and validate Indirect cost rates and escalation factors.
- Conduct cost realism analysis and risk assessments.
- Perform competition analysis and documentation for purchasing/subcontracting compliance.
- Evaluate commercial pricing evaluation when applicable.
- Determine price reasonableness.
Proposal & Pricing Support
- Assist in preparing compliant responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
- Review client inputs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in building pricing volumes in accordance with solicitation requirements.
- Assist in negotiations related to pricing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience & Education
- Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
- Experience must include:
- Minimum of 2+ years of full contract life cycle management experience in federal government contracting.
- Minimum of 4+ years of federal government proposal and modification estimating/pricing experience.
- Must have on-point experience in performance cost and price analysis.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of GovCon, FAR, DFAR, SBA, DCAA requirements, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, with strong accountability.
- Exceptional use of independent judgment and creativity in resolving contract and process improvement issues.
- Strong presentation, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
Work Authorization Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Security clearance is NOT required.
- Ability to travel within the United States, up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CFCM certification
- Experience with both government contractors and commercial companies.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Close vision required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $90K-$105K (commensurate with experience)
