Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to work onsite in Brunswick, GA. The Network Engineer will serve as the senior technical authority overseeing availability, performance, and modernization of an enterprise network supporting law‑enforcement training, secure facilities, and federal connectivity requirements. The role will lead operations across LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud connectivity, and transport environments.
Responsibilities of the Network Engineer include:
· Lead enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and transport network operations across multiple sites
· Prioritize and resolve outages and performance issues in a mission‑critical environment
· Design and modernize network architectures aligned with enterprise federal standards and data center environments
· Serve as technical lead for change control packages to ensure coordinated and low‑risk rollouts
· Coordinate with systems engineers, vendors, cloud teams, and federal network authorities
· Support cloud connectivity and migration efforts for AWS and Azure environments
· Mentor and guide network engineering staff in best practices and operational excellence
Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:
· Expert‑level knowledge in routing, switching, and firewall technologies
· Hands‑on experience with SD‑WAN, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
· Cloud networking experience with AWS and Azure platforms
· Experience coordinating with federal network authorities (ICCB, OneNet, data center teams) preferred
· Proven ability to prioritize outages, projects, and operational tasks in high‑stakes environments
· Strong experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:
· Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
