Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an AI Architect to support a program within the Department of Homeland Security in Fairfax, VA.
This position requires eligibility to obtain a DHS EOD clearance.
Responsibilities:
· Define AI strategy, appropriate AI architectures, principles, and technologies
· Develop and implement AI architecture to meet business requirements
· Use techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, etc.
· Author and enforce AI related policies and frameworks
· Evaluate AI technologies and solutions, supporting R&D, analysis, and integration of new and emerging AI technologies
Requirements:
· Ability to obtain DHS EOD
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
· 5+ years of experience in AI engineering and architecture
· Deep knowledge of AI principles, machine learning, NLP, generative AI
· Programming skills in Python, Java, or C++
· Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
· Experience with AI tools and frameworks such as Sagemaker, Pytorch, TensorFlow, Databricks, Elasticsearch, Azure AI, NumPy, etc.
· Familiarity with government cyber mission space is desirable
Compensation:
· $160,000-190,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
