HX5 is currently seeking a Knowledge Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and manage knowledge articles using BMC Remedy.
  • The knowledge articles being managed will have a variety of topics, including technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a variety of technology areas.
  • Currently we also utilize SharePoint but intend to move the knowledge base fully into Remedy.
• Identify gaps in the knowledge base and help write out the missing knowledge.
• Work with the teams to create training for the various areas as well as self-help options.

Education and Experience:

• Must have 1, or more, years of directly related experience
• Must have experience with BMC Remedy or Microsoft SharePoint
• Must have a basic understanding of technical domains
• Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Salary Information: This position is expected to pay $80,000-$120,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Desired Requirements:

• Have an ITIL Certification
• Have technical knowledge in Networks, Applications, Unified Communications, Servers, or Cloud
• Have Technical Writing experience
• Have leadership experience

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel up to 10%.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
