Description
SAIC is currently seeking an Exercise Simulation Planner located on Ford Island in Oahu, Hawaii to support the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) to provide subject matter expertise and operational support to joint simulations, scenarios, database management, user training, exercise design, issue coordination/resolution, event tests development, and event execution for exercises in the INDOPACOM Joint Exercise Program (JEP).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Support exercises as OPFOR Commander by leading OPFOR and SITFOR, assists with event set-up by providing necessary databases, terrain, maps, and other products, and conducts functional and operational tests, validations, and documentation of joint simulation solutions during technical tests, EFT, EOT, and ECG Training to ensure readiness at STARTEX.
• Coordinate and establish staffing schedules, ECG Training schedules, and products, MINIEX schedule and products, and leads/trains other simulation operators during events.
• This includes, but is not limited to, intel messaging, sustainment, IAMD/BMD, cyber, space, ATO processing, OPFOR, COP, and simulation operations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors and nine (9)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Joint Theater Level Simulation for Global Operations (JTLS-GO) and Exercise Control Groups (ECG).
• Experience providing simulation demonstrations, training, and event support; build plans.
• Must be able to translate operational needs/requirements to simulation tools/capabilities
• Experience generating formal documentation (Test Plans, training plans, SOPs, databases, scenario, etc.)
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
• Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Must be a current US Citizen.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

- Coordinate with operational planners and working groups to document simulation requirements, translate operational needs into simulation tools and capabilities, support the design and validation of simulation architecture and databases, and develop scenario and opposing forces information and products.
- Provide Joint Simulation solution demonstrations and user training during events, planning sessions, and meetings; build event plans and products to achieve exercise or wargaming objectives; forms and leads working groups during event planning and execution; and facilitates stakeholder crosswalks while providing leadership insights and updates to drive solutions, timelines, and project success.
- Build Test Plans, Training Plans, SOPs, scenario/OPFOR plans, floor plans, databases, establishes timelines and milestones for database development and validation and produces other training materials, presentations, and documents as required/assigned. • Support exercises as a model senior controller, simulation controller, simulation operator, and/or simulation database manager within the Exercise Control Group Operations.
