This role focuses on the design, development, integration, and testing of safety- and mission-critical software for advanced aircraft platforms supporting a wide range of operational missions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain embedded software for advanced aerospace platforms
Integrate algorithms and features into C/C++-based applications
Design, implement, test, and debug safety-critical and mission-critical software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software and hardware integration
Support documentation, defect resolution, and performance verification activities
Participate in certification efforts and ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. passport
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance
Current residency in New York State
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of relevant professional experience
Strong programming skills in C, C++, and/or Python
Experience working in Agile development environments
Hands-on experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
