Seeking Software Engineers to support the development of next-generation, mission-critical aerospace and embedded systems. This role involves software design, development, integration, and testing for advanced aviation platforms supporting a wide range of operational missions. Engineers will work on safety- and performance-critical systems in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform software development activities for advanced aerospace systems
Integrate algorithms and functional features into C/C++-based applications
Design, develop, test, and debug safety- and mission-critical embedded software
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on software and hardware interfaces
Support software documentation, issue resolution, and performance validation
Assist with certification efforts and compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standard
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, and/or Python
Experience working within Agile development environments
Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience with avionics systems, cockpit systems, mission systems, or sensor subsystems
Knowledge of reusable software architectures and technical standards
Experience with software product line development
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools
Proficiency with command-line tools, shell scripting, version control systems, containerization technologies, and network analysis tools
Experience with real-time operating systems such as VxWorks
Background in the design, integration, and testing of embedded or avionics software systems
