Location: Must be on the East Coast 50 minutes from an Airport.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Travel Technician for a desktop support role. This position involves extensive travel and hands-on IT support. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and imaging, with a willingness to travel nationwide for approximately three weeks each month for the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
Assist information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects.
Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical Information Technology (IT) solutions.
Interact with customers to understand the business environment and technical requirements.
Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects.
Collect, identify, and organize detailed user and IT requirements.
Participate in IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
Prepare system documentation and establish security and integrity controls.
Analyze and resolve business or technical problems using appropriate tools.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2-3 years of IT experience with an emphasis on troubleshooting and imaging.
Certifications: Security+ certification is required. Must also possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification and an Operating System (OS)/Application certification.
Clearance: Must possess an active DOD Secret clearance.
