You will be the Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager for the Production Operations team. Our team is responsible for delivering results that align with customer requirements and implementing manufacturing engineering solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of manufacturing engineers and delivering results that meet customer requirements. You will have deep knowledge of new product development & introduction, manufacturing technical skills, and experience in assembly, test and integration, automation development, and complex electrical, mechanical, and electro-optical processes.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Top Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in a related engineering discipline-such as mechanical, electrical, aerospace, materials, manufacturing, or industrial engineering-or an equivalent STEM degree.
• Professional experience with Mechanical and/or Electrical Systems
• Professional experience with product manufacturability and design for cost for development programs (R&D, IRAD, or CRAD)
Desired Skills:
• ACTIVE Top Secret Security clearance
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly
• Experience with manufacturing automation applications
• Experience in capacity & capital planning
• Understanding and wide application of assembly and test methods
• Statement of work and proposal development experience
• Experience with Make-Buy generation and strategy
• Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Readiness Level and/or Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRL/MRA 1-8)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
