Release Engineering for Containers Consultant 11317

General Summary

We are seeking a Senior Release Engineering Consultant to support containerized application delivery through modern CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices. This is a remote engagement for approximately 400 hours supporting a federal program. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton) and OpenShift GitOps, and is comfortable working in secure government environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton) for containerized workloads.
• Support and optimize GitOps workflows using OpenShift GitOps (Argo CD) to enable automated, repeatable deployments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable and compliant software releases.
• Improve build, test, and deployment processes to increase automation, scalability, and delivery speed.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and integration challenges across environments.
• Ensure release processes align with federal security and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton).
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift GitOps / Argo CD.
• Strong background in CI/CD for containerized applications.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to pass EOUSA onboarding with a Public Trust (Level 4) background check.
