General Summary
We are seeking a Senior Release Engineering Consultant to support containerized application delivery through modern CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices. This is a remote engagement for approximately 400 hours supporting a federal program. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton) and OpenShift GitOps, and is comfortable working in secure government environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton) and OpenShift GitOps, and is comfortable working in secure government environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton) for containerized workloads.
- Support and optimize GitOps workflows using OpenShift GitOps (Argo CD) to enable automated, repeatable deployments.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable and compliant software releases.
- Improve build, test, and deployment processes to increase automation, scalability, and delivery speed.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and integration challenges across environments.
- Ensure release processes align with federal security and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton).
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift GitOps / Argo CD.
- Strong background in CI/CD for containerized applications.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to pass EOUSA onboarding with a Public Trust (Level 4) background check.
