Description
SAIC is currently looking to hire an on-site Systems Administrator for our TSSL team located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
Program Information:
The ICOFT provides realistic institutional training in all areas of the THAAD Enhanced Operator/Maintainer operations and maintenance tasks for the THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Radar, and Launcher components.

Responsibilities Include:
- Experience with the application of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to operating systems and other networked devices
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization, Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Qualifications
Required Education:
- BS and five (5) years or more experience; six (6)years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree
Required Skills:
- Prior experience with Microsoft Server products
- Prior experience with Microsoft Windows products
- Prior experience with VMware/vSphere.
- Prior experience with Omnissa (VMware) Horizon
- Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Prior experience with Cisco network devices
- Prior experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Prior experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) Devices
- Prior experience with PowerShell
Required Clearance:
- Active Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
Required Certifications:
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification and applicable operating systems certifications
