Overview
We are seeking a Cyber AI Lead to spearhead the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and modernization initiatives across our cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and enterprise IT programs. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic pre-sales and business development support to advance contract delivery, modernize legacy systems, and expand our AI-driven solution portfolio.
The ideal candidate will design and integrate AI-enabled solutions that enhance operational efficiency, security posture, and system interoperability, while actively supporting pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification, solutioning, and RFP/RFI development. This role partners closely with delivery teams and the Business Development organization to support pipeline growth and capture success, making it ideal for a leader passionate about applying AI to real-world, mission-driven challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, integration, and modernization of AI- and automation-driven solutions across cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and enterprise platforms.
Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems using AI, ML, and automation to improve scalability, resilience, and performance.
Design and implement AI-enabled capabilities for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, threat intelligence, and operational automation.
Support secure deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of AI/ML models in mission-critical environments.
Build and mature internal AI standards, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and cybersecurity teams to integrate AI solutions into existing platforms and workflows.
Ensure AI solutions align with Zero Trust, cloud, DevSecOps, and security compliance requirements.
Mentor technical teams on AI/ML techniques, MLOps practices, and responsible AI principles.
Serve as a technical thought leader across AI, automation, and cybersecurity domains.
Partner with the Business Development and Capture teams to support pipeline development and opportunity qualification.
Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution architecture, technical strategy, and feasibility assessments.
Support RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses through technical writing, solution narratives, and AI-focused win themes.
Develop AI-related whitepapers, concept papers, and customer-facing presentations to support growth initiatives.
Translate customer requirements and mission needs into differentiated, implementable AI solutions that strengthen competitive positioning.
Participate in customer discussions, solution briefings, and technical evaluations during capture and proposal phases.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, software engineering, or systems integration.
5+ years of experience designing, deploying, or operating AI/ML systems, including MLOps pipelines.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and automation frameworks.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++, with experience using AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, etc.).
Experience supporting system modernization, integration, or digital transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and secure software delivery environments.
Proven experience supporting pre-sales activities, including technical proposal writing (RFPs/RFIs).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance preferred.
