This role is instrumental in delivering secure, efficient, and scalable solutions that directly impact the success of projects, teams, and organizational goals. This role will possess and/or develop the skills to be able to span the domains of software development, data engineering, infrastructure automation, information assurance, and AI/ML integration at a practical application level of proficiency . This Consultant role will work on projects that allow them to contribute across the entire technology stack-software, infrastructure, data, AI, and security-to ensure quality, speed, and innovation in delivery.

The Impact You Will Create:

Serving as a full stack engineer to provide specialized, on-call engineering support for a portfolio of mission-critical web and mobile applications. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing production systems operating across multiple cloud and managed infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate brings deep experience supporting complex web and mobile platforms, diagnosing issues in distributed systems, and delivering reliable, high-quality technical support with a high degree of responsiveness to stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities in This Role:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across frontend, backend, mobile, and cloud infrastructure layers.
• Maintain and enhance applications built with Vue, Nuxt, Node.js/TypeScript, and related frameworks.
• Support iOS and Android mobile applications, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and release management.
• Perform operational tasks in AWS, Google Cloud, and House-managed infrastructure, including log analysis, service restarts, container updates, and configuration changes.
• Execute safe hotfixes, deployments, and configuration updates to address urgent operational issues.
• Manage mobile app store workflows, including updates, certificates, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and resolve data ingestion issues, service interruptions, and performance concerns.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with executive leadership staff during routine work and time-sensitive incidents.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to augment existing engineering capacity and ensure system stability.
• Provide on-call and ad hoc engineering support for production web and mobile applications

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including 1-3 years supporting production systems with both web and mobile components.
• Extensive experience supporting and debugging production applications built with Vue, Nuxt, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency maintaining and extending iOS and Android applications, including experience with Flutter or native mobile workflows.
• Hands-on experience managing releases via Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Strong experience operating cloud-hosted applications in AWS and Google Cloud environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in distributed systems.
• Experience with relational and in-memory datastores such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
• Proficiency with containerization and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Docker, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience working with administrative dashboards, analytics interfaces, and internal middleware.
• Familiarity with authentication systems and integrations such as OAuth2 and MSAL.
• Ability to provide rapid, reliable responses during on-call situations, including occasional after-hours support.
• Ability to maintain and obtain public trust clearance
• Plus factors:
• Prior experience supporting Democratic Leadership systems (DemCom, DomeWatch, Dome Directory, Resume Bank).
• Experience with ETL processes or data aggregation pipelines.
• Knowledge of legislative workfl ows and leadership communications.
• Experience with search platforms such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or during meetings.
• Must be able to travel occasionally to client sites or company meetings.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person, requiring clear speech, listening, and written communication skills.
• Ability to move within an office environment, including reaching for files, using office equipment, and occasional light lifting (up to 10 pounds).

The salary range for this position is:

Minimum Salary: $91,554

Salary Midpoint: $119,020

Maximum Salary: $146,486

Hiring Range for Role: $91,554 - $126,500

*This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance criteria.
