Critical skills include expertise in Simulink modeling tools using both time domain non-linear modeling and frequency domain analysis tools. Strong experience in developing classical control solutions using frequency domain analysis. Additional desirable experience includes familiarity with State Space systems and manipulation of linearized response models in support of evaluation of mechanical finite element model outputs in eigenvector format and their incorporation into Simulink time domain models. Candidate should also be familiar with Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) technology, Inertial Navigation Systems, encoders, resolvers and motors. Candidate should also be familiar with swept sine response evaluations and vibration testing for model validation. Candidate must act in a multidisciplinary role interfacing with optical, mechanical, software and systems engineers.
