Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol Rounds in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with access control by observing and reporting unauthorized individuals and/or vehicles in restricted areas.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff by providing information and directions as needed within the location.
• Complete detailed and accurate written reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
