Description

Markon is seeking a Business Financial Professional - Level 2 to support purchasing and financial operations for the Fort Meade Customer. This position will support customer requisition processes, apply financial and purchasing knowledge, and operate independently to ensure timely and accurate execution of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support customer requisition and purchasing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Utilize customer financial and requisition tools to process and track actions.
  • Perform routine financial and purchasing support activities in coordination with government stakeholders.
  • Monitor task status and proactively resolve issues to meet timelines.
  • Operate independently while effectively supporting team and mission priorities.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced operational environment with changing requirements.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph with this Customer
  • 8 years of DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) experience in purchasing or finance,
    OR 10 years of combined DoD, IC, and commercial experience in purchasing or finance.
  • Substitutions:
  • In lieu of a degree, one of the following certifications plus three (3) additional years of directly related experience may be substituted, for a total of:
    • 11 years of DoD/IC experience
    • 13 years of combined DoD, IC, and commercial experience:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
    • DAWIA Level I in Business or Financial Management
  • In lieu of certification, two (2) additional years of directly related experience may be substituted, for a total of:
    • 13 years of DoD/IC experience, OR
    • 15 years of combined DoD, IC, and commercial experience.

Required Experience:
  • Experience preparing program and project status reports addressing cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Experience supporting budget planning, budget formulation, and budget execution for acquisition programs.


Salary Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
