The National Intelligence Division within MITRE's Intelligence Center is seeking a Division Project Coordinator to provide executive-level operational, administrative, and project coordination support to the Managing Director and Division leadership team. This role is critical to the effective execution of the Division's mission in support of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the broader Intelligence Community.
The Division Project Coordinator serves as a trusted partner to the Managing Director, enabling disciplined execution, high-quality sponsor engagement, and seamless coordination across a complex portfolio of intelligence programs. The position combines division-level operational leadership with targeted project coordination responsibilities to ensure sponsor engagements, internal operations, and leadership priorities are executed with rigor and professionalism.
The position reports directly to the Managing Director, National Intelligence Division.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The Division Project Coordinator is responsible for formal project coordination in direct support of Project Leaders and sponsor engagements, along with division-level operational and executive support, including but not limited to:
- Serve as a central coordination point for Division leadership activities, ensuring alignment across departments, project leaders, and enabling organizations.
- Support sponsor engagements by coordinating meetings, briefings, visits, and events hosted at MITRE, including facility reservations, security actions, visitor access, and logistics.
- Partner with Project Leaders and project teams to support successful execution of sponsor-facing activities, including tracking deliverables, milestones, and action items across selected projects.
- Assist Project Leaders with coordination of sponsor interactions to ensure consistent, professional engagement and adherence to MITRE processes and sponsor expectations.
- Facilitate and track security and access requirements related to sponsor engagements, staff onboarding, and project execution.
- Develop, document, and continuously improve division-level operational processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate closely with other Division and Department administrators, project coordinators, and enabling staff across the Intelligence Center.
- Provides direct operational and administrative support to the Managing Director, including calendar management, meeting preparation, action tracking, and coordination of leadership priorities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience
- Demonstrated experience providing senior-level administrative, operational, or project coordination support in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience supporting sponsor-facing activities within the Intelligence Community or national security environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and operate independently.
- Proven ability to coordinate across leadership, project teams, and enabling organizations to drive timely outcomes.
- Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.
- Experience supporting project management activities, including tracking tasks, deliverables, and milestones, is strongly preferred.
- Active TS/SCI with current CI Polygraph.
- U.S. Citizenship required
- This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of the mission, structure, and operating environment of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, including experience supporting ODNI project leaders, leadership engagements, or IC-wide coordination activities.
- Experience working within MITRE's internal systems and processes, including tools such as Workday, Concur, and related financial, staffing, and travel workflows, to enable efficient and compliant operations.
- Proven ability to support sponsor-facing engagements, including coordination of meetings, briefings, site visits, and events, with a strong focus on professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, supporting multiple leaders or projects simultaneously while maintaining execution discipline, prioritization, and high-quality outcomes.
