Job Description:
TrueTandem is looking for a talented Software Business Analyst to join an existing team of Business Analysts and Developers in support of a Federal customer. The successful candidate will see the software development lifecycle from start to finish and be responsible for requirements collection, prototyping, and testing. Strong preference will be given to candidates that have backgrounds in custom software development where they have personally elicited granular level system requirements from stakeholders and developed prototypes / simulations / wireframes of potential solutions. This position is for a Business Analyst that seeks to immerse themselves in the granular level detail necessary to envision, build, and deliver software. The Business Analyst’s scope covers supporting O&M changes and new development on an existing Federal system. The position requires a resource that is capable of integrating into an existing system that consists of a Client (desktop) application, a web application, and a backend database containing over 900 tables.
The position requires the candidate to obtain an active IRS MBI clearance and be clearable at the public trust level.
We are looking for a Business Analyst with passion for custom application software development – namely in requirements elicitation and quality assurance (software testing). The Business analyst should have an engineering/custom application development mindset that loves to elicit requirements from customers, prototypes their vision of a custom software solution, and works with the customer to refine the prototype and create detail level requirements statements at a sufficient level of detail for unambiguous coding.
Duties:
· Requirements (elicitation, prototyping, documentation) (30%)
· SME to development team (10%)
· Testing (30%)
· Support user acceptance testing (20%)
· Other (10%)
· Participation in team meetings
· Participation in customer meetings
· Working with Business Analysts & other Developers
Qualifications:
Candidate should have 3+ years of professional experience in the following areas:
o Requirements gathering & documentation
o Prototyping / simulations / wireframes
o Working directly as customer representative SME for software developers
o Software Testing (non-automated, non-test script based)
o Microsoft T-SQL – basic ability to find and query data from a database.
o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
o U.S. Citizenship

· Adobe Acrobat
· Drive and passion for the software development industry
· Prior experience as a software developer
· Interest or experience reverse engineering and documenting complex mathematical formulas.
· UI Path Development Experience
